The original store was founded in 1896.
Since May 2007, P.P. COBB GENERAL STORE & DELICATESSEN is under new ownership, but it's still in the original building near the City Marina traffic circle at the east end of Avenue A, downtown Ft Pierce Florida. (Click P.P. Cobb Building image for more information about the history.
OUR BEER SELECTION REACHES 500 DIFFERENT BRANDS!
How many beers? We're not finished yet... New beers arrive all the time!Our store specializes in Baked Goodies, Homemade Soup, Salad & Sandwiches for dine-in or takeout breakfast (served all day) and lunch, as well as a unique selection of Beer, soft drinks & candies from yesteryear.
We also carry wide range of Florida products, such as dressing (from Island Grove), BBQ sauce, hot sauce, and wine.
We must mention our selection of handmade herbal soap from Cherokee Soap, local-fave Brenda's Soap, Dr. Bronner's Magic Soap plus Florida Key lime Soap.
Our arts & craft selection is limited but eccentric! Visit our "Little Pottery Galley" located in the back of the store.
